GENERAL INFO

Turn your cosy night into the ultimate stay at home experience with some cracking new recipes. In this hands-on cooking class, we’ll be recreating your favourite takeaway-style dishes — the kind you’d normally order in — but made from scratch, fresher, and even better. Themed with movie classics and comfort-food moments, you’ll learn how to prepare bold, crowd-pleasing dishes that are perfect for eating on the sofa while the credits roll. Expect big flavours, smart shortcuts, and plenty of tips for getting that authentic takeaway vibe at home. Whether you’re a film buff, a foodie, or just looking for a relaxed and social day out, this class is all about great food, good company, and dishes you’ll want to make again and again. Come hungry, leave with new skills — and dinner sorted for movie night.

This class is a Kamado Joe cooking class, but we will use and showcase other grills & accessories from Gozney, OFYR, MySpike and more.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How many per class? To make the most of our space and make sure you get the best hands on experience, we can offer up to 12 people maximum per class, with a minimum being 8. If the date does not get enough bookings, we reserve the right to reschedule and offer you the next available slot.
  • What should I wear? British weather will bring us glorious sunshine with a sprinkling of rain and a gush of wind – it’s unpredictable. Best to be prepared as our cook school will be hosted outdoors, however it is sheltered and heated. We do ask no flip flops/sandals please, no one wants to lose a toe dropping a knife!
  • What should I bring? Just your wonderful selves, and a tub if you want to take home your leftovers, we will provide all of the equipment needed.
  • What if I have an allergy? Please get in touch before booking, as we cannot guarantee suitability. If you have a serious allergy, we advise you not to attend. This is because we simply cannot guarantee that ingredients have not come into contact with that allergen from harvesting, through production, packaging or transport.
  • When should I arrive, and where do I park? Please arrive between 9:45 and 10am on the day of your class so we can get you a coffee and settled in. If you’re driving, then please where possible park in the free carpark accross the road as we don’t have many spaces on site. Come hungry! (but don’t feel you need to eat everything as you make it – feel free to take it home)
