Meet our very own Birstall team of BBQ experts & food enthusiasts at our fantastic cooking experiences here at BBQ Basecamp. Guests will cook on Kamado Joe ceramic grills, and our team will also showcase Masterbuilt & Gozney Pizza Ovens.
The BBQ Basecamp crew is made up of our own dedicated members of staff (at Birstall Garden and Leisure in Leicester). We began trading as a family owned and run Centre in 1969, and were the first Garden Centre to start trading online. In 1999 we created our website so customers all over the UK could take advantage of our amazing products, fantastic prices and speedy nationwide delivery. We love top quality products to make your outdoor living experience the best, specialising in BBQs & Pizza Ovens, Garden Buildings, premium Garden Furniture and Aquatics.
We have all fallen in love with outdoor cooking throughout lockdown, and from hosting demo days in store most weekends in the summer. We launched BBQ Basecamp Cook School in March 2023 offering exclusive hands on cooking experiences in our self built shack (by team Basecamp’s John). If you join us, you will cook, learn, chat, eat and drink until your hearts (and belly’s) content. From sizzling steaks to juicy kebabs, curries, paella, sweet treats and more, we will show you how to create delicious quality dishes on your grills, in the comfort of your own garden.
